Downs Ag offers grid soil sampling services. We will pull soil samples on your farm on a 2.5 , 5 , or 10 acre grid. We will then deliver your samples to the soil testing lab to be analyzed. After we have received the sampling results we will then make variable rate fertilizer maps from the soil data. Growers will then receive a soil sampling map book to review results and the controller .shp Rx files for variable rate fertilizer application.
