My name is Charles Downs and I am a licensed Independent Crop Consultant. I have over a decade of experience in scouting and crop management. Downs Ag is a full-service crop consulting company from planting to harvest. We provide consulting services on Rice, Soybeans, Corn, Wheat and Grain sorghum. We work with farmers across the Delta implementing efficient agriculture practices that help reduce input cost and increase yields. We scout your farm on a weekly schedule monitoring for insects, weeds, diseases and fertility issues. We then provide unbiased recommendations to help treat any problems that arise during the growing season.

I put honesty, integrity and hard work at the forefront of my consulting business. I am dedicated to providing a unique and strategic agriculture consulting service to each one of my growers. My Mission is to Improve each farms yields while reducing crop inputs, in return helping the bottom line of the operation and the farmer. I want to see each operation grow and become sustainable. Downs Ag Consulting is an active Member of the MACA (Mississippi Agriculture Consultants Association). The MACA requires continuous education for its members and requires members to make unbiased recommendations.
